Dear Neighbor, Well Being Medical Care is a primary care practice that opened in 2008.I am a 1996 graduate of the University of Maryland Medical School and did my residency at the Franklin Square Family Medicine program.I was invited back to join the faculty at Franklin Square and during my 10 years there received recognition for my work as a physician, mentor and medical director. My office operates as an ideal medical practice. My business and clinical structure support the philosophy that the strength of the patient-provider relationship is the single biggest determinant of health outcomes.Technology including an electronic medical record, virtual receptionist and on-line appointment manager allow patients self service access.Patients appreciate the unfettered access to and the extra time available with their doctor. Patients are charged with more than usual authority but also obligations. Patients are asked to create their own reminders for follow up, to time orders and testing around visits, to keep appointments and help with forms and other paperwork. I am working on improving the vitality of the practice with a goal towards helping other physicians who want to start their own ideal medical practice. Sincerely, Kristin M. Clark, M.D.
